When the Pain Feels Like It Will Never End
Grief transforms life, but love remains

There are moments when the world breaks apart in a single instant.
There are those who are waiting today for a call that will never come. Others are still searching for a loved one. There are families who do not know where to begin rebuilding their lives.
When tragedy strikes, words often feel too small.
I know this because one day I also discovered that there are pains for which there are no sufficient answers.
After the passing of my son Matías, I understood something that no one can teach you until you experience it yourself: love does not end when a life ends.
Love changes its form.
It can no longer be held in our hands, but it continues to embrace our hearts.
With time, I learned that remembering does not mean living trapped in the past. Remembering can also become a way of continuing to love.
So, to those who are walking through darkness today, I want to say this with all my heart: do not allow pain to make you believe that love has disappeared.
It has not.
It lives in every memory that makes you smile through your tears. It lives in every act of kindness that is born after loss. It lives in every person who chooses to keep going in honor of the one they love.
Today, I continue to pray for Venezuela, for those who grieve, for those who wait, for those who help, and for those who, even with broken hearts, find the strength to rise once again 🙏.
Because I have learned that even in the darkest night, love remains stronger than despair.
