Sometimes life feels like a path full of challenges, surprises, and moments we don’t fully understand. We wonder why we face certain difficulties, and at the same time, we look at others’ lives and feel envy or question the fairness of their experiences.
The Soul’s Planning
There is a beautiful idea that our soul, before incarnating, plans its journey in some way. It chooses the experiences we need to live to grow, learn, and evolve. It’s not always easy, and often we don’t understand it until much later, but every challenge has a purpose.
These trials are not punishments; they are disguised opportunities. Life presents obstacles to teach us patience, resilience, compassion, and wisdom. Like a seed that must break through the soil to grow, or a chrysalis transforming into a butterfly, our difficulties allow us to unfold our deepest potential.
Looking at Others Without Judgment
Often we look at others and ask ourselves, “Why does this person have everything?” or “Why does this one face so much hardship?” Our first reaction may be to think in terms of justice: karma, dharma, reward, or punishment. But it’s not always that simple.
Each soul chooses its path: some opt for more challenging lives to grow intensely, while others plan lighter experiences, which may seem like a “vacation” by comparison. None of these paths are better or worse; they are perfect for the lessons each soul sought.
This perspective invites us to view our own trials with gratitude and others’ lives with compassion, understanding that we are all following our own map of evolution.
To Learn, Not Repeat
Even though our soul may plan challenges, this does not mean we should passively accept situations that harm us or repeat inherited cycles of pain. Every trial is an opportunity to grow, to understand ourselves better, to overcome what no longer serves us, and to transform our path.
We did not come to Earth to be victims of repeating cycles or to justify behaviors that hurt us. We came to learn, evolve, and use our experiences to be stronger, more conscious, and more loving toward ourselves and others. Every challenge is an invitation to take responsibility for our growth and transform what once limited us.
Finding Meaning and Purpose
Accepting our life as part of our soul’s plan allows us to find meaning even in the darkest moments. Every step, every tear, every joy brings us closer to understanding who we are and what we came to learn.
When we see our life as a journey of the soul, we stop judging, start learning, growing, and trusting that every experience, no matter how difficult, has a purpose.
Trust your path, embrace your challenges, and use each trial as a stepping stone toward your best self. Life is not a punishment or a reward: it’s a canvas where your soul paints its evolution. Learn, grow, overcome, and transform. Every experience, every emotion, every encounter brings you one step closer to your purest essence.
